Step 1

Open a new photoshop document, and apply a radial gradient. I used the colors #250101 and #000000.

Step 2

Now, with a font of your choice, write the desired text. Pick a nice bright blue color, I’ve chosen #03c9e1.

Step 3

Now double click on the text layer and select Bevel and Emboss and use the following settings for it:

Here’s how our text is looking like now :

Step 4

Click on Inner Glow and apply the following settings. Choose a dark shade of blue.

Our gel effect is almost ready now :

Step 5

To make the gel look more realistic, click Inner Shadow and use the settings below:

Presto! Our gel text effect is complete!
